Bouquet Garni (Salt-Free)

A Bouquet Garni is traditionally a collection of fresh sprigs of herbs that are bundled together and added to a pot to gently infuse soups, stews, stocks and broths. Because we make ours from dried herbs we suggest using a muslin bag or cheesecloth to enclose the herbs.

This garni is hand mixed from marjoram, dill weed, chervil, lemon thyme, Greek oregano, bay leaves, California basil and tarragon.

This is our robust version which is great for slowly simmered dishes. We also make a delicate version, our French Style Bouquet Garni. Try strewing some into your slow cooker, to add flavor in a pinch, to a beef roast or chicken.
