Bucktown Brown Mustard & Honey Rub

Bucktown is a neighborhood in Chicago and like other formerly urban neighborhoods is now a well-preserved district, home to restaurants, shops, and artists. Inspired by the colorful history and rich balance of Bucktown and Chicago's prominent use of mustard as a condiment, we created this blend.

Ingredients:
Kosher salt, honey powder, crushed brown mustard, turmeric, granulated onion, granulated garlic, black pepper, cumin, coriander.

We handcraft this rub by mixing together salt, honey powder, crushed brown mustard seeds, turmeric, onion, pepper, cumin and coriander. Try as a rub or use it to create a marinade for chicken, pork and salmon. Additionally, use it as sprinkle for deviled eggs, tuna salad, and potato salad! Great as a base for sauces or condiments.

You will receive the product in plastic, sealable bags that will be labeled with the product name, uses, and ingredients if applicable. The bags meet FDA requirements for food applications. They are 100% recyclable and can be put in with all other plastics recycled at home.

  • The small glass bottles hold 2 fluid ounces. The plastic lids have a flip top with a small pour spout.
  • Medium glass bottles hold 4 fluid ounces. The plastic lids have a split flip top. One side has a larger opening and the other side is a shaker.
  • Large glass bottles hold 12 fluid ounces. The plastic lids have a split flip top. On side has a larger opening and the other side is a shaker.
