How to Use
Rub on prime rib, steak, pork, and chicken. For marinade, mix 1-2 T spice with 1/4 cup red wine, 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar, and a 1/2 cup olive oil.

Montreal seasoning is named after the city in Canada. A deli butcher, who worked in Montreal, famously used a specific blend of spices to cure meat like ribs and steak, and that's how it got its name! We call our version Hudson Bay Beef Spice.
