La Plata Peak Latino Spice
We took the classic flavor of a Caribbean style adobo seasoning, added little more the heat and some smokiness to bring you La Plata Peak. We handcraft this spicy blend from toasted onion, garlic, salt, cumin, Mexican oregano, crushed red pepper, black pepper and chile powder. The added chiles are what make the difference in heat and flavor. The chipotle peppers are dried over an open fire to produce a smooth, smoky flavor which compliments the Aleppo.

This blend is a little spicy; about a 4 on a heat scale of 1 to 10. It can be used interchangeably in any application where you would use an adobo. We recommend trying this blend on skirt steak. Sprinkle 1 or 2 tsp. on the meat just before grilling, broiling or pan-frying. There is no need to marinate. Enjoy the steak right off the grill or use it for your fajitas, tacos, Chimichangas or burritos. La Plata Peak also works great for seasoning pulled pork or shredded chicken.
