Mt. Elbert All-Purpose Seasoning

The highest peak in the state of Colorado and the second highest in the continental United States, Mt. Elbert deserves a mention when talking 14ers. Aptly named, this blend is a giant among our all-purpose seasonings. Though it is a simpler seasoning, our Mt. Elbert All-Purpose packs in great flavor as well as colorful presentation. We handcraft this blend from salt, toasted onion, black pepper, red bell peppers, garlic, French thyme and Greek oregano.

Ingredients:
Salt, toasted onion, black pepper, red bell peppers, garlic, French thyme and Greek oregano

Mt. Elbert is great on chicken, hamburgers, eggs and french fries; but we feel it’s our best seasoning for popcorn. This blend is so versatile that we even recommend it for outstanding buttermilk dressing. Mt. Elbert Buttermilk Dressing - To make dressing, mix 1 tbsp. Mt. Elbert with 1/2 cup buttermilk and 1 cup mayo. For a low- calorie version, substitute the mayo with either a low-fat sour cream or mayo.

Mt. Elbert All-Purpose Seasoning Recipes

The following recipes use Mt. Elbert All-Purpose Seasoning.

“I wanted a dry rub, which I've never used before, and was directed to the BBQ section and chose the Pearl St. Plank Rub. My ribs were the best anyone that night had ever tasted. I really, really appreciate the cooking advice and recipes, as well as the high quality spices. Many thanks!”
