Alder trees are native to the Pacific Northwest and populate Mt. Hood national forest. We took our Alderwood smoked sea salt to new heights in creating our Mt. Hood Rub. With delightful smoky undertones and savory toasted onion and mustard notes, this rub is certainly an all-purpose blend.

Toasted minced onion, alderwood smoked sea salt, granulated onion, brown mustard, black pepper, fennel, tarragon and chervil

We precisely handcraft this rub by mixing together toasted minced onion, Alderwood smoked sea salt, granulated onion, brown mustard, black pepper, fennel, tarragon, and chervil. Mt. Hood is a perfect compliment for trout or salmon. As an all-purpose rub, use it on burgers, chicken, pork chops, steaks, vegetables and more!
