Moroccan style curry is referred to as Ras el Hanout and like other curries it can be made from many different ingredients. Translated, Ras el Hanout means ‘top of the shop’, ‘head of the shop’ or ‘best of the best’. However you translate it, it means only the finest spices comprise this mixture.

Ingredients:
Nutmeg, sea salt, black pepper, ginger, cardamom, mace, Chinese cinnamon, ground allspice, turmeric and saffron

Even though ours doesn’t include the sometimes added Spanish fly beetle (thought to be an aphrodisiac), we think you’ll be more than satisfied. Try seasoning on rice, poultry tagines (a Moroccan stew), couscous, meatballs or meats.
