Roman Pepper Steak Seasoning
The classic Italian steak, Bistecca alla Fiorentina, is simply seasoned with olive oil, salt and pepper. Venture towards Sicily and you’ll find the addition of rosemary, lemon and garlic. We’ve created our Roman Pepper Steak Seasoning to encompass these basics, but with additions to allow a greater depth of Italian flavor.

This blend contains Tellicherry black pepper, extra coarse sea salt, garlic, white pepper, crushed red pepper, lemon peel, rosemary, basil, sour salt and lemon thyme.
This is a great seasoning for any quality cut of beef, but also nice on chicken, meaty white fish and vegetables. Try making a basic marinade by mixing1-2 tbsp. seasoning with a ½ cup olive oil and a ¼ cup each of white wine vinegar and lemon juice. A ¼ to a ½ cup of marinade should be prepared per pound of meat. Remember to coat the meat entirel. Additionally, you only need to marinate quality steaks for 20-30 minutes.
