Black Pepper-Free

We’ve paired together two of France’s most sought after ingredients to form a tasty and aesthetically pleasing salt that is a must for any elegant table. Piment d’Espelette is a chile similar to paprika from the Basque region of southwest France and has a spiciness that is characterized by a bold, warm flavor. Our grey salt comes from the coastal town of Guerande in northwest France and we’ve used a dried version to give this blend stability.

Piment d’Espelette and grey sea salt

Like the wet, the dry grey salt is not washed, does not undergo any chemical treatment and contains no additives. It is naturally rich in magnesium and a source of calcium, iron and other trace elements. Our Piment d’Espelette Grey Sea Salt is a finishing salt and should be used toward the end of the cooking process or tableside. Try it to brighten up dishes based around eggs, fish, meat, potatoes and other vegetables.
