Team Sweet Mama's BBQ Chicken Rub

This rub comes to us from Gary Guesnier of Team Sweet Mama. Savory Spice Shop sponsored Team Sweet Mama in the 2005 season of BBQ competitions. We provided Gary with freshly ground spices so he could create his rubs and it sure has paid off for both of us!

Ingredients:
Sea salt, garlic, brown sugar, onion, California paprika, mustard, cayenne and savory

Using this spicy and flavorful rub Team Sweet Mama placed third out of 64 teams in the chicken category for the Frisco, Colorado BBQ competition. Try it at your next barbeque and we’re sure you’ll winner with your friends and family. We handcraft this rub from sea salt, garlic, dark brown sugar, onion, paprika, mustard, cayenne and savory.

You will receive the product in plastic, sealable bags that will be labeled with the product name, uses, and ingredients if applicable. The bags meet FDA requirements for food applications. They are 100% recyclable and can be put in with all other plastics recycled at home.

The amount of product in the jar you receive is considered the net weight. We have provided that net weight after the jar size, ex: Small glass jar (net 1.25oz). To give you a better understanding of the jar size, see the fluid ounce measurements below.
  • The small glass bottles hold 2 fluid ounces. The plastic lids have a flip top with a small pour spout.
  • Medium glass bottles hold 4 fluid ounces. The plastic lids have a split flip top. One side has a larger opening and the other side is a shaker.
  • Large glass bottles hold 12 fluid ounces. The plastic lids have a split flip top. On side has a larger opening and the other side is a shaker.
