Day 24 started out with a bang! Two of my bros (Lloyd & Steve) live in the ATL area and they're not too shabby backyard barbecuers so they were excited to get out and do some Chasing BBQ with me...that brought the energy level up more then a few notches. 

Our first stop was at 
Grand Champion BBQ in Roswell, Georgia, which is just a bit north of Atlanta. We were the first ones through the doors and were greeted with real enthusiasm by co-owner Celia Vivier (co-owned with Greg Vivier and Robert & Anne Owens) and her 'cue fanatic employee Derek. Even though they didn't realize we were coming they were immediately on board and excited to be a part of my chase. Celia put together a spread of their various offerings, which included pork ribs, pulled pork, brisket, chicken and sausage along with mac & cheese, collards, baked beans and some redneck lasagna! Oh and some banana pudding.

My bros and I pretty much tore though it all in short order. Each of us had a different favorite main...Lloyd the brisket, Steve the sausage, and me, I liked the pulled pork. We all enjoyed the sauces and sides, but the redneck lasagna won us over. That's their amazing mac & cheese topped with meaty Brunswick stew. Boy that was good!

G.C. BBQ has three locations in the Atlanta market. With their multi-cultural and barbecue backgrounds, they are doling out some very solid oak smoked cue! #chasingbbq
