Travel Info

We are located on Platte Street just off of 15th Street between the Platte River and I-25. From I-25 take the 23rd Avenue exit toward downtown and drive past the Downtown Aquarium and the REI flagship store. This turns into Platte St. Cross the intersection at 15th and we are half a block down on the left. From downtown, take 15th Street to Platte and take a right. PARKING: Paid lot across street at Natural Grocers/Vitamin Cottage. Metered parking on Platte. Free parking on Platte on 18th-20th. Free parking on Central Street then use 16th Street Pedestrian Bridge to get to Platte.


 This is the original Savory Spice Shop, opened in September of 2004 by Mike and Janet Johnston.  We love being a part of the Platte Street community!  We've been featured on the Food Network shows Spice & Easy and Down Home with the Neely’s.

Savory Spice Shop is proud to be a part of this new market located in Larimer Square in the courtyard of Bistro Vendome. This French-inspired market will offer guests high-quality meat, bread, produce and spices and you can even enjoy a Mimosa or Bloody Mary while shopping! Other chef-selected vendors include Western Daughters Butcher Shoppe, Grateful Bread, The Truffle Cheese Shop, Sugar Mill Desserts, Blooming Fool Florists, The Squeaky Bean, Grower's Organic, Brandon's Organics, Circle Fresh Farms and Wonderland Farms.

    Join Denver Public Art for the Big Red Street Fair, a celebration of John McEnroe’s iconic piece, "National Velvet." Situated at the Highlands Pedestrian Bridge, which connects downtown Denver to the hip Highlands area across I-25, thousands pass this piece of public art every day. Stop by to sample red beer from the Denver Beer Company, red cupcakes from Happy Cakes, and other goodies from local vendors.
