Our butterscotch extract is of the highest quality and possesses a very strong, natural flavor. A four ounce bottle should last a long time considering only a drop is needed for most uses. We suggest starting by using ¼ tsp. in any standardized recipe and adjusting to your personal taste from there. This extract is about 35% alcohol, which is the standard for extracts in the United States.
