Our Madagascar vanilla bean paste is formulated to match Madagascar vanilla extract in flavor, strength and usage. The paste holds hundreds of vanilla bean seeds in suspension, giving products the beautiful flecks associated with a gourmet appearance. Before each use, shake vanilla bean paste to ensure product consistency and an even distribution of beans.
Vanilla bean paste can be used as a replacement for both extract and vanilla beans. Use one tablespoon of paste to replace one tablespoon of single strength vanilla extract. One tablespoon of paste can also be used as a substitute for one vanilla bean, making it a great timesaver when doing lots of baking! This paste has the added benefit of a longer, more stable shelf life than vanilla beans.
The amount of product in the jar you receive is considered the net weight. We have provided that net weight after the jar size, ex: Small glass jar (net 1.25oz). To give you a better understanding of the jar size, see the fluid ounce measurements below.
The small glass bottles hold 2 fluid ounces. The plastic lids have a flip top with a small pour spout.
Medium glass bottles hold 4 fluid ounces. The plastic lids have a split flip top. One side has a larger opening and the other side is a shaker.
Large plastic bottles hold 8 fluid ounces. The plastic lids have a split flip top. On side has a larger opening and the other side is a shaker.
