Gold Coast Tropical Poultry Rub
The Gold Coast of Florida is known for being ritzy. You can use this blend to add an indulgent, subtle sweetness to any main course. This blend features flavors that are beloved in Florida and their neighbor to the south, the Caribbean!
White sugar, orange peel, black pepper, coriander, ginger, annatto, allspice, and spices.
The citrus and pepper in this handcrafted rub are balanced by island flavors of ginger, annatto and allspice, resulting in a delightful, tropical taste. Try as a rub to flavor chicken, turkey or duck. As a rub, we suggest using 1 tsp. of seasoning per pound of poultry, or more to taste. Generously rub the seasoning on the outside of the poultry skin and/or underneath the skin before cooking. Use rub with olive oil or melted butter, if desired, to help it stick. It is also great to season pork, seafood and vegetables.
