This turns into Platte St. Cross the intersection at 15th and we are half a block down on the left. From downtown, take 15th Street to Platte and take a right. PARKING: Paid lot across street at Natural Grocers/Vitamin Cottage. Metered parking on Platte. Free parking on Platte on 18th-20th.  This is the original Savory Spice Shop, opened in September of 2004 by Mike and Janet Johnston.  We love being a part of the Platte Street community!  We've been featured on the Food Network shows Spice & Easy and Down Home with the Neely’s.

  • Help the Hungry This Holiday Season

    All Day Event

Give back this holiday season and drop off any non-perishable food items at our store for the Bienvenidos Food Bank, our Highland neighbor. The Bienvenidos Food Bank has been helping neighbors in need for four decades. Their mission is to provide emergency and supplemental food assistance in ways that promote respect and dignity. Their vision is a community equipped with the tools and resources to move beyond hunger and toward greater independence. They currently serve 600 to 900 people every week. Families may “shop” for the food they need and Bienvenidos strives to always provide healthy choices such as fresh fruits and vegetables that many families can’t afford
