The Great NC BBQ Map Signing with Amanda Fisher and Paul BrightSaturday, November 8, 2014
Charlotte residents, Amanda Fisher and Paul Bright are co-creators of The Great NC BBQ Map, the most comprehensive guide to our state’s biggest food obsession. Together, they created a printed road map that lists 434 BBQ restaurants and 42 festivals, and in doing so, they have eaten more BBQ sandwiches than they can count. Instead of rating or critiquing each stop, the couple has given you all the information so you can create your own BBQ adventure and find your own favorites. The map’s infographic approach gives details on each restaurant’s style of BBQ and methods for preparing it. Also included is a timeline on the history of BBQ in America and information to help you differentiate the BBQ styles of NC, which give perspective to your own travels.Join us on November 8th to meet Amanda and Paul. Just in time for holiday gifts, grab a map or two and have it signed by the folks who ate their way thru NC BBQ!
