STRESS FREE BBQWednesday, March 19, 2014
Dimples BBQ Sauce is the first product from Raleigh's family-owned, Jarico, Inc. Owners, Rich and Jan Campana, developed the recipe after Rich's competition barbecue team, The King's of Q, needed help standing out during judging. The sauce became a hit after Rich began giving it away when the competitions were over. At the time, Jan, who was a stay-at-home mom of two teenaged sons, was looking to re-enter the work force. The idea of being her own boss inspired Jan to investigate starting a business and on January 28, 2011, Dimples BBQ Sauce was born. Rich and Jan Campana have lived in the Raleigh area for 9 years. When they are not making Dimples BBQ Sauce, they can be found judging at local Kansas City BBQ Society festivals, helping with Rolesville's Hot Pickn' Finger Lickn' BBQ Festival, and supporting Triangle causes such as the Diabetes Bus Initiative and NC Easter Seals.- Rich & Jan have been customers of SSSRaleigh almost since we opened, and use the highest quality of natural ingredients. We love this sauce because it works with everything and is not limited to pork. It's not too sweet nor too much vinegar- we love the label, the pig is too cute - (after all we eat with our eyes first) , and we think they are such terrific folks. We think DIMPLES stands apart from the hundreds of BBQ sauces you see on the shelves of your grocery store. Jan & Rich will present two easy recipes-Easy BBQ PORK and coleslaw. $20pp payable at registration
