“I just wanted to say thank you for processing my first order so quickly. We fell in love with Chimayo chile powder in Santa Fe, and couldn't find it anywhere else until we found your website.”

I love chai tea, and wanted something authentic. When I found Chai Spices on SSS, I was intrigued. I have always followed the recipe on the chai spices instructions and loved it, BUT this time I added 1 tablespoon Mt. Baker Chai Spice Seasoning when I added the brown sugar and black tea- WOW- that seasoning brought the taste over the top in a great way! Whether you add the Mt. Baker Chai or not this chai tea is layered with spices. From the cinnamon aroma while sipping, the sweet taste of ginger and brown sugar then ending with all the 'spices of India', this tea will just make you happy in every way :) We have drank the tea both warm and cold, then any leftovers go into the freezer to be enjoyed as a dessert. To me this is a must have in every kitchen ESPECIALLY during the winter because the aroma fills the home with the smells of the Holidays. GREAT gift for others... give a 4 ounce bag of Chai Spices, include the black tea and brown sugar (and 1 tsp. Mt. Baker Chai Spice if you like), and add instructions!! I always strain the tea using cheesecloth- YUM!
Test Kitchen Response: Thanks for the chai love! What a great gift idea to give all the components to make the chai recipe.
