Evan’s Bakeless Vegan Brownies

Ingredients:
- 4 cups walnut pieces
- 2/3 cup craisins
- 1 cup dates
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/3 cup black onyx cocoa powder
- 2 Tbsp. ground organic Ceylon cinnamon
- 1 tsp. vanilla bean paste
- 2 tsp. ground star anise
- 1/2 tsp. cayenne
- 2 Tbsp. water
Directions:
Toast walnuts. Grind in a food processor until ground to a meal. Add craisins and dates. Process until well combined. Add sugar, cocoa, cinnamon, vanilla, star anise, and cayenne and process. Add water so a loose dough forms. If it doesn’t add more water a tsp. at a time. Press dough into a 9X9 pan, flatten and cool until firm.
Serving Suggestions:
Cut into bite size squares.
