Recipe: Hibiscus-Lavender Gelée
- 2 tsp. unflavored gelatin
- 1/2 cup cold water
- 1/2 cup Hibiscus-Lavender Simple Syrup*
- 1 1/2 cups mixed fresh berries
Sprinkle gelatin over water in a small bowl and let stand for 5 min. to soften. Heat syrup to barely boiling in a small saucepan, then remove from heat. Add softened gelatin to hot syrup, stirring until gelatin is completely dissolved. Pour mixture into 4 glasses or serving dishes. Add ¼ cup berries to each serving. Cover and refrigerate until set.
Serve topped with fresh whipped cream and the remaining ½ cup of fresh berries.
