Ingredients:
- 2 Tbsp. tomato powder
- 1/2 cup water
- 2 tsp. Old Market All-Purpose Seasoning
- 1 tsp. liquid tamarind paste concentrate
- 2 tsp. brown sugar
Notes:
For a sugar-free ketchup, leave out the brown sugar; the ketchup will be much more tart if you do. You can also substitute honey for the sugar.
Directions:
Mix tomato powder and water and let stand for a few minutes. Adjust thickness by adding more water or more powder. Add remaining ingredients and mix well. Store in a sealed container in the refrigerator.
Serving Suggestions:
Use in place of regular ketchup anywhere you want a smoky, spicy kick. Try it with our Tarragon Sweet Potato Steak “Fries” or Norm’s Gluten-Free Mexican Meatloaf.
