Recipe: Pepper Roasted Chicken Wings
Create the wings of your dreams at home with this customizable recipe. Pick your favorite seasoning then roast or grill. These juicy, flavor-packed wings are perfect whether you're enjoying them with friends on game day, for an easy family meal, or all to yourself.
To roast wings: Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Line a large baking sheet with foil and spray foil with cooking spray. Arrange wings in a single layer on baking sheet and sprinkle both sides generously with rub of choice. Spray of wings lightly with additional cooking spray. Roast for 20 min. then turn wings over and roast another 20 min. until browned and cooked to an internal temperature of 180 to 185 degrees.
To grill wings: You can also grill seasoned wings over medium-high heat on a well-oiled grill. Keep turning wings so they don’t burn, or move them to indirect heat if they are charring too fast. Wings will cook faster on the grill, about 20 min. total. Grill to a finished internal temperature of 180 to 185 degrees.
Transfer wings to large bowl and toss with sauce of choice if desired. Or serve with dipping sauce on the side.
