Recipe: Roman Pepper Steak Marinade
While this is the perfect marinade for steak, it's also lovely for infusing Italian flavors into chicken, meaty white fish, or vegetables.
- 2 Tbsp. Roman Pepper Steak Seasoning
- 1/4 cup white wine vinegar
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 1/2 cup olive oil
Makes enough marinade for 2 to 4 pounds of steak, using ¼ to ½ cup of marinade per pound.
Combine all ingredients and use to marinate your favorite steak for 20 to 30 min. A good-quality steak doesn't need to be marinated for long. Remove from marinade and grill or sear to desired doneness.
While marinated steak is cooking, add remaining marinade to a small saucepan and simmer until reduced and thickened into a sauce to serve on top or alongside cooked steak.
