When you want a no-fuss weeknight meal, make this easy pizza.


  • ¼ to ½ cup tomato sauce
  • 1 tsp. Italian Herbs
  • 1/2 lb. ground turkey
  • 3/4 Tbsp. South Fork Italian Sausage Spice
  • 1 Tbsp. olive oil
  • 1 green or red bell pepper, sliced
  • 10 button mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 precooked pizza crust
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 slices provolone cheese


Mix tomato sauce and Italian Herbs in a small saucepan and warm over low heat. Mix together ground turkey and South Fork Italian Sausage Spice to make a sausage mixture. Heat oil in a medium skillet over medium-high heat. Add turkey sausage mixture and cook for 3 to 5 min. Add peppers and mushrooms cook for about 5 more min. Spread warmed tomato-herb sauce over pizza crust. Top with cheese and then add cooked sausage, peppers, and mushrooms. Bake at 450 degrees for about 10 min.

Followed the recipe exactly and not only was this an easy pizza to make but one of the best I have ever done at home. I am addicted to the South Fork Sausage spice. I used a Pilsbury pizza dough and could not be happier with this pie. Looking forward to making this one again.
