Strawberry-Basil “Mojito”

Yields: 4 servings

Ingredients:

  • 3/4 cup Allspice-Bay Simple Syrup*
  • 1 x bunch fresh basil leaves
  • 1 cup sliced strawberries
  • 4 cups club soda or seltzer water

Notes:

Turn into a cocktail by adding 4 Tbsp. white rum. *Click here for the Allspice-Bay Simple Syrup recipe.

Directions:

Place syrup, basil and a quarter of the sliced strawberries in a small pitcher and muddle together using a wooden spoon. Add the rest of the strawberries and soda or seltzer.

Serving Suggestions:

Serve over ice with slices of lemon. This recipe also works with our Vanilla Bean-Grenadine Simple Syrup or Coconut Lime Simple Syrup.
