Sweet & Savory Candied Nuts

Ingredients
4 cups nuts (almonds, pecans or mixed) 1/2 cup honey
Roast Turkey Rub
2 Tbsp. Roast Turkey Rub
Vanilla Bean Sugar
3 Tbsp. Vanilla Bean Sugar
Directions
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350° F.
Step 2
Line baking tray with foil and spread out nuts on line tray in a single layer. Toast nuts for 8 minutes.
Step 3
Transfer nuts to a large bowl. Add honey and toss to coat. Put back on line baking sheet and place back in the oven for 10 minutes.
Step 4
Meanwhile, toss Roast Turkey Rub and Vanilla Bean Sugar in a clean large bowl to combine.
Step 5
Remove nuts from oven and add to bowl with the spice mixture and toss to coat evenly.
Step 6
Spread out on a cookie sheet to cool then break apart with fingers.
Recipe Notes
You can use any nut mixture you would like, but we found 2 cups mixed and 2 cups pecan halves to be very nice. You can substitute honey for the corn syrup.
