Urfa Grapefruit Margarita

Yields: 4 servings

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup Urfa-Cardamom Simple Syrup*
  • 3/4 cup tequila
  • 1/4 cup Triple Sec
  • 4 cups ice cubes
  • 1 cup fresh squeezed grapefruit juice (from 1 large grapefruit)

Notes:

Recipe works with fresh squeezed orange juice instead of grapefruit juice. For a non-alcoholic version, replace Triple Sec and tequila with 1 cup fresh squeezed orange juice. *Click here for the Urfa-Cardamom Simple Syrup recipe.

Directions:

Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until slushy. Start with 3 cups of ice, then add more for desired slushiness. Divide between 4 glasses and serve immediately.

Serving Suggestions:

Serve with a slice of grapefruit or orange in glasses rimmed with Vanilla Bean Sugar or sea salt and Urfa crushed red pepper. This recipe also works with our Herbes de Provence Simple Syrup.
