*You can replace the arrowroot starch with 1 Tbsp. flour.
In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt butter and stir in arrowroot starch (or flour) until it forms into a paste. Slowly pour in milk and add remaining ingredients. Cook for 2 to 3 min., stirring constantly. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 3 to 4 min.
Great on fish, chicken and vegetables.
