Recipe: Paris Cheese Popcorn
This may be the easiest popcorn recipe ever. The drizzle of olive oil combined with the herb-filled cheese seasoning creates a sophisticated snack.
- 2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
- 1/2 cup popcorn kernels
- 2 Tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
- 1/2 cup Paris Cheese Sprinkle
This recipe also works with 8 to 10 cups pre-popped, packaged popcorn if you don't have kernels on hand. Just skip to drizzling popcorn with olive oil and tossing with seasoning.
Heat a large pot or Dutch oven over low heat. Add enough vegetable oil to coat bottom of pot, about 2 Tbsp. Add 1 or 2 kernels of popcorn as oil heats. Once kernels pop, add remaining kernels and cover. Shake pot as kernels pop to keep them from settling on bottom of pot and burning. Continue shaking until all kernels have popped. Transfer popcorn to a large bowl. Drizzle with olive oil, sprinkle with Paris Cheese and toss to coat.
