Savory Kale Chips



These chips can be flavored with almost any Savory blend. Other favorites are County Clare Seasoning Salt, Cajun Style Blackening Seasoning and Indochina Seasoning.


Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cut kale leaves from stems and tear leaves into bite-size pieces. Place on baking sheet, drizzle with oil and sprinkle with seasoning. Toss with hands to make sure leaves are lightly coated with both oil and seasoning. Bake for 10 min. or until crisp.

Serving Suggestions:

Makes a healthy party snack.

    Well, I bought collard greens instead of kale (don't know my greens) and used Southern Spain Pinchito Spice for seasoning. My whole family liked them and we are not greens eaters and I have picky teenagers. One correction, they were not near crispy after 10 minutes at 350 degrees. I cranked the oven up to 400 and they still needed another 15 minutes. Maybe kale cooks faster. Yum!
