Great Plains “4B” Bison Burger



"4B" refers to the bison, bleu cheese, basil, and bacon that give this burger layers and layers of flavor.

This recipe also works with beef instead of bison.

Directions:

Mix spices and Worcestershire together in a medium bowl. Add ground bison and mix with hands until well combined. Form mixture into 4 patties and preheat grill to medium-high. Grill burgers to desired doneness. Toast buns on grill while burgers are cooking. Divide blue cheese crumbles among the top of all 4 burgers just before removing them from the grill. Place burgers on toasted buns and top each with beefsteak tomato slices, a small handful of basil leaves and bacon slices.

Serving Suggestions:

Try using our Black & Bleu Cheese Dressing as a spread for the burgers.
