Ingredients

Notes

You can use any nut mixture you would like, but we found 2 cups mixed and 2 cups pecan halves to be very nice. You can also substitute the corn syrup with honey. *Honey can be substituted for corn syrup.

Directions

Toast nuts in a single layer on a cookie sheet in a 350-degree oven for 8 min. Transfer to a large bowl and add honey and corn syrup. Toss to coat and put back on non-stick or parchment-lined cookie sheet. Put nuts back in 350-degree oven for 10 min. Meanwhile, in a large bowl, toss Tiny Town Turkey Rub with the Vanilla Bean Sugar. Dump the hot gooey nuts into the spice mixture and toss to coat evenly. Spread out on a cookie sheet to cool then break apart with fingers.

Serving Suggestions

Delicious sprinkled over your favorite green salad. For holiday flare, add candy corn to finished, cooled mixture. Great snack for ballgames and holiday get togethers. Nuts can be stored for 1 week in a sealable container.

“I am gluten-intolerant and very careful about what I purchase to prepare meals with. Many times, seasonings are loaded with wheat or flours as binding agents. I was thrilled to find your seasonings in all of their natural states.”

Super easy to make (even my first attempt was successful!) My guests loved them and my store had to go packs with all the ingredients premeasured.

I loved the nuts but since corn syrup is not especially good for diabetics I substituted more honey for the corn syrup. Turned out fabulous!
