Shaping the meatballs into pyramids not only makes for a fun presentation, but makes them easier to brown without chasing them around the pan!
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. In a medium bowl, thoroughly mix 6 tsp. Za’Atar into the ground meat. Create 10 golf ball sized meatballs and place them on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil. Using both hands, press evenly with forefingers and thumbs on both sides of the meatballs to form into pyramid shapes. Heat olive oil in a deep frying pan over medium-high heat. Brown each side of the meatballs, 1 to 2 min. per side. Place meatballs back on baking sheets and sprinkle with remaining 1 tsp. Za’Atar. Bake in oven for 5 to 6 min. to finish.
