Za'Atar Seasoning 1 oz bag $2.20

Ingredients:

Notes:

Shaping the meatballs into pyramids not only makes for a fun presentation, but makes them easier to brown without chasing them!

Directions:

Preheat oven to 375°. In a medium bowl, thoroughly mix 6 tsp. Za’Atar seasoning (reserve 1 tsp.) into ground meat. Create 10 golf ball sized meatballs and place on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil. Using both hands, press evenly with forefingers and thumbs on both sides of the meatballs to form into pyramid shapes. Heat olive oil in a deep frying pan over medium/high heat. Brown each side of the meatballs, 1-2 minutes per side. Place meatballs back on baking sheets and sprinkle with remaining Za’Atar seasoning. Bake in oven for 5-6 minutes.

Serving Suggestions:

Great served with Cinnamon Lemon Couscous and Mt. Olympus Spiced Tzatziki Sauce.

Yields:

10 meatballs
