When we say small batch BBQ sauce, we mean it! Taking inspiration from his Chasing BBQ road trip, Savory founder Mike Johnston brought back his favorite regional barbecue flavors to the Savory Spice Test Kitchen. After lots of testing and tasting, we turned the flavors of Mike’s journey into eight delicious BBQ sauces to share with our customers.

Ingredients:
Mayonnaise (Soybean Oil, Water, Eggs, Vinegar, Contains less than 2% of Sugar, Salt, Egg Yolks, Natural Flavor (Contains Mustard), Lemon Juice Concentrate, Calcium Disodium Edta (To Protect Flavor), Dried Garlic, Dried Onions, Paprika), Apple Cider Vinegar, Lemon Juice, Long’s Peak Pork Chop Spice (Salt, Garlic, Onion, Black Pepper, Shallot, Ginger, Hickory Smoked Salt, Hickory Smoked Flavoring, Regular Mustard Powder and Crushed Brown Mustard Seed), Less than 2% of Horseradish Powder, Black Pepper, Potassium Sorbate, Sodium Benzoate. Contains Soybean Oil & Egg. Separation may occur.
Shake well before serving. Refrigerate after opening. Separation May Occur.

This sauce was inspired by visiting the legendary barbecue joint that invented it: Big Bob Gibson’s in Decatur, Alabama. Created in 1925, the use of mayo in BBQ sauce was unique in the barbecue world, but its flavor has passed the test of time! Like the original, ours is thin, tangy vinegar and mayonnaise-based sauce; but our version is seasoned with our smoky Long’s Peak Pork Chop Spice. Great for adding a smoky tang to chicken, pulled pork, and ribs. Use as a dressing for coleslaw or potato salad.
