When we say small batch BBQ sauce, we mean it! Taking inspiration from his Chasing BBQ road trip, Savory founder Mike Johnston brought back his favorite regional barbecue flavors to the Savory Spice Test Kitchen. After lots of testing and tasting, we turned the flavors of Mike’s journey into eight delicious BBQ sauces to share with our customers.

Ingredients:
 Vinegar, water, sugar, less than 2% of dehydrated red and  green bell peppers, molasses, dehydrated garlic, habanero powder,  vegetable gum.
Shake well before serving. Refrigerate after opening.

This tangy vinegar sauce, with spicy and sweet chile peppers, was inspired by visits to legendary barbecue joints on the eastern coasts of North and South Carolina. The locals love the way heat and tang pair with and cut through their type of barbecue – pork. The tangy kick of habanero heat is great with pulled pork, chopped pork, and pork rinds. Try it in sides like potato salad or collard greens.
