Cheese Powder, Cheddar

This cheese powder has full flavor and a smooth texture. It’s easy to convert into dressings, dips and sauces. Great on toasted breads or popcorn. Additionally, cheese powders are perfect for sprinkling over mashed or baked potatoes.

Ingredients:
Pasteurized milk, cheese culture, salt, enzymes, cream, sodium phosphate, annatto and lactic acid.
It takes 3 pounds of fresh cheese to make 2 pounds of dehydrated cheese powder.

Straight cheese powders are used to make a variety of Savory Spice Shop’s cheese blends. It takes 3 lbs. of fresh cheese to make 2 lbs. of dehydrated cheese powder. Cheese powders are made of natural cheeses that have been dehydrated down from about 45% moisture content to 5% moisture content, giving them a long stable shelf life.
