These certified organic raw cacao nibs contain no sugar, are approximately 45% fat and are chocolate at its most pure. Sometimes called cocoa or chocolate nibs, they have not been roasted, ground or pressed. The only processing that they have received is a natural one that occurs as they ferment under banana leaves in the Philippines.

Raw cacao nibs are crunchy and have an unsweetened chocolate flavor that is not bitter like baking cocoas are. They can be eaten on their own, mixed into trail mix or smoothies and sprinkled over fruit or ice cream. Cracked or coarsely powdered, they can be mixed into baked goods, ice cream, mole and more.

These cacao nibs are cultivated in the Philipines.
