The celery that we eat today developed from a wild European plant that grew near the sea. We grind our celery in small batches weekly to ensure freshness.

Medieval magicians put celery seeds in their shoes, believing they could help them to fly.

Ground celery, like celery seed, has the taste and smell of celery stalks, but its flavor is much more pronounced. Use anywhere you would seeds, but in half the quantity, as ground celery is much stronger. If you love the flavor of celery, try our Cambridgeshire blend.
