Coconut milk powder is 65% coconut oil carried on a maltodextrin base with a trace of sodium caseinate (a milk derivative) to keep the oil from separating. Use this powder to make a rich, full-flavored coconut milk fast and easy by simply adding 2 tbsp. hot water to 1 tbsp. coconut milk powder.

Try using in curries, baked desserts, drinks, ice cream, sauces and more. To make a rich pudding, thoroughly mix together ½ cup coconut milk powder with ½ cup warm water. When blended, mix in an additional ½ cup of coconut milk powder. Refrigerate for 24 hours or freeze to create a non-crystallized soft serve ice cream!

The coconut was first mentioned in 545 AD by an Egyptian Monk named Cosmos Indicopleustes. He visited western India and Ceylon and described the coconut as the "great nut of India."
