Fenugreek was considered a cure for baldness in ancient times and is still used in hair tonics today.

Ground fenugreek has a dull, yellow color and a powdery texture that tends to clump up, so be sure to stir it thoroughly. The flavor of fenugreek is sweet yet bitter with a hint of celery. Ground fenugreek is primarily used in curry powders and breads, but also can be experimented with on vegetables, in chutneys and pot roasts.
