Onion Flakes, Green

Green onion flakes are the minced, dark green part of the scallion and are native to Siberia. They have a milder flavor than minced white onion, and are closer to chives in flavor, making them a less expensive alternative.

Minced green onion flakes are an attractive garnish as well as a nice finisher to lighter dishes. Try them in casseroles, soups and sauces, pasta, salads and eggs. A perfect match to poultry or seafood.
