Pepper, Black, Tellicherry: Large Crack

Tellicherry black peppercorns are the best of the best and come from the Malabar Coast of India. These peppercorns are left on the vine to mature longer, creating a mellow, well-rounded taste which is a bit fruity.

The sizes are determined by running the cracked or ground peppercorns through a variety of sieves or screens. Common mesh sizes such as 6, 10, 15, 20, 30 and 60 refer to holes per square inch. Large crack: 6/10 mesh size. For rubs and marinades, great for peppercorn dressing.
