Pepper, Black, Tellicherry: Extra Fine
Our Tellicherry black pepper is offered in a variety of sizes as well as whole. The sizes are determined by running the cracked or ground peppercorns through a variety of sieves or screens. Common mesh sizes such as 6, 10, 15, 20, 30 and 60 refer to holes per square inch.

Extra Fine: 60 mesh size. This is all of the dust we have been removing from the other grinds. This type of ground pepper consists mainly but not totally of the inner white part of the peppercorn, which makes it great for soups, sauces, gravies and dressings.

A large crack would be referred to as the industry standard, 6/10. These are the pieces that went through the 6 hole per square inch screen and stayed on top of the 10 hole per square inch screen. We offer a variety of sizes of ground Tellicherry peppercorns.
