Sucanat sugar is named for what it really is, “sugar cane natural”.  Created by a heating and cooling process, this sugar is more of a granule than crystal and retains that rich molasses flavor like most unrefined sugars.

Use Sucanat sugar as a 1 to 1 replacement for brown sugar in baking.  Its light flavor and rich sweet taste is also great in coffees and teas.
