Jammin' with The Jelly Queens!Saturday, July 26, 2014
1pm - 4 pm
If you haven't caught wind of the incredible jellies we are now carrying, then you definitely don't want to miss this. Donna Collins, founder of The Jelly Queens, will be demonstrating these tasty gems that aren't your average jellies. She likes to call the cooking jellies vs. the toast spread type of jelly we've all consumed. Each product is handmade in small batches using organic and, whenever possible, locally grown Texas ingredients. Its jams, jellies and sauces are each infused with beer, wine or champagne to create unique and complex flavor profiles. In 2014, The Jelly Queens won both the coveted Good Food Awards in the preserves category and the World Marmalade Awards for their Blood Orange Lavender Honey Marmalade! As I was saying, this is one you don't want to miss because The Jelly Queens aren't the queens of jellies for nothing!
