The promotion will run at all Savory Spice Shops for the month of June. “We’ve had customers who have actually moved houses three times, hauling with them the same spices they bought in the 1980’s” says Janet Johnston, Mike’s wife and co-founder of Savory Spice Shop. “Spices actually do have a shelf life for flavor. Once ground, the volatile oils start to evaporate, taking with them their aroma and taste.
