This blend is featured in Savory Spice Shop's first cookbook, Spice to Plate.

We handcraft this rub from Spanish paprika, salt, brown sugar, black pepper, medium chili powder, roasted garlic, toasted onion, nutmeg and hickory smoke flavoring. When using as a rub 1 or 2 tsp. per pound of meat should be thoroughly rubbed in, reapplication can be done toward the end of grilling. This rub is sure to please, great on chicken, pork, steak or turkey.

Ingredients:

You can make a sauce by mixing 1 to 2 tbsp. per cup of tomato sauce or ketchup and try adding a little molasses for some sweetness. This sauce can be used for Sloppy Joes to add some zip or as a dipping sauce for wings.
