Mother’s Day Recipes for Every Meal

Mother’s Day is fast approaching and while we may not be able to give our moms everything they deserve, we can treat them to some delicious food on their day. Great meals (and maybe some flowers!) will guarantee an extra-special holiday for the whole family. (Pictured above: Spice 'n Easy Saffron & Chanterelle Risotto)

Mike’s Super Thick Bloody Mary Mix

Breakfast/Brunch

For a classic made easy, try out French Toast Muffins! You can prepare these the night before and pop them in the oven in the morning. Top with freshly whipped cream, sliced strawberries, and/or maple syrup for the perfect breakfast-in-bed plate.

If mom doesn’t have much of a sweet tooth, Bacon & Mushroom Quiche can be an impressive dish to whip up on Mother’s Day morning. Serve with mimosas for a balanced breakfast.

Speaking of brunch-time drinks, Bloody Mary Scones are super unique and sure to please! Just be sure you have something to wash them down with… If another Bloody Mary is too much, make our Blackberry Sangria with Honey Powder and Lavender.

Lunch

Everything Crusted Salmon

Peach season is just starting so get in the summer produce spirit by starting with this flavorful BBQ Arugula & Peach Salad. Pair it with Everyting Crusted Salmon (which takes less than 30 minutes to make using our new Brooklyn Everything Bagel Blend) served over rice and you've got a light yet satisfying meal that's sure to impress mom

Dinner

Is there anything better than an Italian dinner? Treat mom to Spice 'n Easy Saffron & Chanterelle Risotto—a dish that feels upscale and special but takes less than 30 minutes. Serve it as a main dish or alongside roasted bone-in chicken thighs or seafood. Best paired with a glass of Italian white wine!

Dessert

Espresso & Coconut Truffles

Wrap up the evening with the most important “meal” of the day: dessert! If your mom is a chocolate lover, the Perfect Chocolate Cake is, well… perfect. It has both Black Onyx AND Dutch Cocoa Powder for a rich, chocolatey flavor. For small chocolaty bites, serve the Espresso & Coconut Truffles.

Like fruity desserts better? Baked Apples are an easy classic that features our warm Baking Spice blend. Although it may be a little more involved, the vanilla-flavored Bourbon & Grilled Banana Pudding is oh-so-worth the extra effort.

We all know that our moms deserve the best. Post your creations on Facebook or Instagram and tag them with #savoryspiceshop. Now go make Mother’s Day great… and don't forget to do the dishes!

What every Mom wants ~a big bouquet of flowers & a pitcher of Lavender Lemonade...perhaps with a splash of Prosecco, and rim the glass with Lavender Vanilla Bean Sugar ;-P

Molly from Savory HQ here. We love discussing our blogs with our customers in this comment space but we've gone ahead and removed a thread that was unrelated to the content. Let's keep this a positive space for talking about something we're all passionate about: cooking!

I believe that I was cooking way back in the womb -before I was even born! Wish that I had access to Savory Spice blends back then ;-) Just made an egg souffle with Kansas City Strip Steak Seasoning and it was SWOONFUL ;-P
