My last stop yesterday, number 75, was at Old Hickory BBQ in Owensboro, KY. This place was huge! Multiple dining rooms, a to-go area and a drive thru with cars lined up around the parking lot. Even though it was a massive operation, they still put out some pretty dang good barbecue.

Here I tried my first mutton ribs along with pork ribs and brisket...paired those with more burgoo and some green beans. The highlight for me was the outside edges of the mutton ribs, the burgoo and the perfectly cooked green beans.
In the end, I did get to chat it up with a couple of the guys, Keith and Cory, and they explained the mutton barbecuing process...they cook ‘em for 22-24 hours over...well. ..like the name says...hickory. #‎chasingbbq
